Blue John/Marbled amethyst?
The cover with a micro mosaic scene of a ruin, finely inlayd with gold work and mother of pearl.
Further bordered with a fine gold and mother of pearl decorated border.
L. 7.2 cm.
Provenance: Estate of the late William Lloyd George, 3rd Viscount Tenby (1927-2023), the grandson of David Lloyd George, 1st Earl of Dwyfor (1863-1945) the British Prime Minister from 1916 to 1922 during WWI.
