EXCEPTIONAL LARGE CARVED HARDSTONE CAMEO IN FRAME.
The ornate and carved hardstone cameo of a classical nude female and a child carved in a deep red hardstone.
Possibly depicting Venus and cupid.
The cameo is encased within a highly detailed Rococo-style gilt bronze frame, flanked by draped winged putti and allegorical female figures.
The top is adorned with a wreath and ribbon motif, enhancing its opulent, ceremonial aesthetic.
